Amauri Torezan

Amauri Torezan (b. 1972) is a Brazilian-born, South Florida-based contemporary artist known for his bold abstract art.  

Drawing from the colors and vibrant energy of nature and the rhythmic flow of music, his work features forms and lines that seem to float around each other as if they were lightly suspended in space. Layers of contrasting colors enhance the depth effect, evoking a sense of movement and vibrancy. 

Rooted in the rich legacy of timeless mid-20th-century abstraction, Torezan developed a unique visual language using elements of geometry and optical illusion to create fresh and dynamic works of art. 

Torezan’s work has been exhibited at institutions such as The Baker Museum, Coral Springs Museum of Art, and Cornell Art Museum, as well as in art galleries and international art fairs.

Among his artistic collaborations are monumental public murals and partnerships with brands such as the Swiss watchmaker TAG Heuer. Torezan’s art is held in corporate and private collections across the globe.
